We started working on the Mercury model around the same time that we were finishing our first Ambassador prototype. We wanted to make a larger watch, something in the 42-44mm range. The watch actually started off as an Ambassador CAD model, which we stretched and started experimenting with. The goal was to design something impressive, something extreme. Ultimately, this is the first and only example of the original design based off the Ambassador. The entire design was re-engineered as a consequence of this watch. This watch measures a 55.24mm in length, and has a 22mm lug width, while the next iteration will be 53.60mm in length, with an 20mm lug width.
